Regional artists on display at PCC gallery

SYLVANIA CAMPUS – The Northview Gallery will feature an aluminum, bronze and iron sculpture exhibit by various regional artists in a two-month long presentation at the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave.The Northview Gallery, located in Room 214 of the CT Building, will host an artist talk with Matt Proctor from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, June 26 followed by a reception from noon to 1 p.m.The show, “Intrinsitive,” will be on display at the gallery from Monday, June 23 through Friday, Aug. 22. The exhibit coincides with PCC’s Sylvania Campus summer sculpture class on the subject of bronze casting. Exhibiting artists include Michael Creger, Vandy Bennett, Ken MacKintosh, Lillian Pitt, Matt Proctor, Katherine Nelson, David Reese, Kathy Ross and Duke Crittenden.Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
