PCC Jazz Band hosts dance events

Looking for a place to shake your booty? Look no further because the PCC Jazz Band has two upcoming events that quench your thirst for dancing. The band will be playing at the Annual Tartan Ball from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29 in the ballroom of the Portland Marriott Hotel, 520 S.W. Washington St. This fund-raiser for charity is $15 per person.A first in a series of public performances by the PCC Jazz Band for dancers taking classes at the college or those interested in merely dancing the night away will make their first appearance from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 S.W. Salmon. The cost is $10 per person or $15 per couple.Bring your friends and enjoy a night out dancing to classic big band tunes like swing, rock, fox trot, rhumba, Latin, waltz and many others.
