PORTLAND, Ore. – Looking for a place to shake your booty? Look no further because the Portland Community College Jazz Band, based at the Cascade Campus, has an upcoming event that will move you to the dance floor. A first in a series of public performances by the PCC Jazz Band and Community Education program for those interested in dancing the night away will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Multnomah Athletic Club, 1849 S.W. Salmon. The cost is $10 per person or $15 per couple. Parking is free. The event is a partnership between PCC’s non-credit Community Education program and the band to give PCC dance class members a venue to apply their skills.
