Tune up your finances for the New Year

BEAVERTON, Ore. – It’s never too late to start investing and the New Year is a perfect time to resolve to make your finances work for you. An upcoming non-credit class offered by Portland Community College will show you how to be savvy with your money and make strategic financial decisions.Instructor Philip Trabucco will teach how to weather various market conditions with Diversify Your Investment Portfolio. Students will learn the ins and outs of basic investment, assess risk and reward, how to use the "investment pyramid"as a tool, and how to make times of inflation work for you."Let New Years be the catalyst to finally getting smart about your money,"said Trabucco. "Now is the time to look at your holdings, make adjustments and get reeducated on how to build wealth and financial security."The three-week class will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 18 through March 3, in Room F1 of Aloha High School, 18850 S.W.
