Chocolate dessert class sets the stage for romantic evenings

PORTLAND, Ore. – Ah, decadent chocolate. It’s the one ingredient that ranks high on almost everyone’s favorite dessert list. Now you can learn to create those incredible desserts for someone you love with a non-credit class offered by Portland Community College.The Romance of Chocolate will teach students how to create two famous desserts especially for romantic dinners. Learn how to make a simple chocolate lava cake and chocolate fondue with very little effort. Instructor Kristen Galegor’s recipes will set the mood for a very special evening.The one-day class will meet from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 18, at the Sheridan Fruit Company, 408 S.E. 3rd Ave. Cost is $25.For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-788-6265.
