Web page design taught in Spanish through online class

PORTLAND, Ore. – Students whose first language is Spanish can learn in Spanish how to design, create and post a website through a new non-credit class offered online by Portland Community College.Creacion de Paginas Web will lead students through all the basics of launching their websites, including low-cost marketing techniques and search engine strategies. Instructor Diego Perez-Inigo will lead Spanish speakers in an online format, in which students have the opportunity to create Web pages right from their home computers throughout the lessons. "Creating Web Pages is our most popular online course,"said Marcia Truman, PCC Community Education manager. "I’m thrilled that we are now able to offer it to Portland’s Hispanic community."Held entirely on line via the Internet, the six-week class offers the flexibility to open lessons whenever your schedule allows and features discussion boards with the instructor and other students. The class will be offered twice this winter: Wednesday, April 21 through May 28, and again on Wednesday, May 19 through June 25. Cost is $69.
