Scrapbooks go digital with PCC non-credit class

HILLSBORO, Ore. – This is not your mother’s scrapbook. A new non-credit class offered by Portland Community College shows you how to create "scrapbooks of the future" by using digital technology.Basic Digital Scrapbooking is a one-night class that will teach you how to create a beautiful album without all the mess and time of handmade scrapbooks. Instructor Kim Hughes will lead the class through editing and cropping, adding backdrops, borders and clipart, and journaling. Bring four to eight photos on disk or a CD if possible. The class will be offered twice from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. this fall as follows: from Wednesday, Sept. 29, or from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20. Both classes will be held at Century High School, 2000 S.W. 234th Ave. Cost per class is $29.For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-533-2707.
