Build a Web-based business with PCC class

PORTLAND, Ore. – Want to own your own business and work from home? An upcoming non-credit class offered by Portland Community College can help you tap into the world of e-commerce and start your own online company. Building a Web-Based Business will explain how to make a living on the Web selling anything from soup to nuts. Both for those with start-up money or those without, instructor John Johnson will explore affiliated programs, search engine optimization, marketing and more. Emerge with a real plan to get started. The three-week class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 25 through Feb. 8, in Room 130 of Mount Tabor Hall at PCC’s Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd Ave. Cost is $49.
