PORTLAND, Ore. – Love to knit but struggle with certain techniques? Portland Community College will offer a non-credit class this January to help you perfect your projects while you take your knitting craft to the next level. Knitting: Catch and Correct Mistakes is designed for those who know how to cast on and off, and knit and purl, but have difficulty with errors. Instructor Joyce Carlo will show students how to pick up dropped stitches, correct holes and clean up projects. Enjoy working on projects in the company of other knitters in a fun, supportive class. The four-week class will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 11 through Feb. 1, in the Grand Hall at PCC’s Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd Ave. Cost is $39.
