PCC-Sylvania hosts 'Farmer's Daughter' author

SYLVANIA CAMPUS – Portland Community College will host a poetry reading by Lynnell Edwards, author of "The Farmer’s Daughter."Edwards, whose poems have appeared in literary journals across the country, plans to read from her work at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 2. The event is in the Little Theater (Room 201 of the CT Building) at the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. This event, sponsored by the creative writing program, is free and open to the public.Edwards is a professor and director of the writing center at Concordia University in Portland, and holds a master’s degree and doctorate in English from the University of Louisville. She also serves as the faculty editor for Concordia’s literary magazine, "The Promethean."For more information, call 503-977-4839.
