Joye Hardiman to speak at Cascade

CASCADE CAMPUS – Joye Hardiman, executive director of the Tacoma campus of Evergreen State College, will present field research on the African presence in global history, using literary analysis and popular culture. Hardiman is presenting from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13 in Terrell Hall 122 of the Cascade Campus, 705 N. Killingsworth Street. She regularly tours colleges as an inspirational speaker and storyteller, and is a sought-after keynote speaker for national workshops and conferences. An alumna of Harvard University’s management development program and a founding member of Ancestral Artworks, Inc., Hardiman earned a doctoral degree in applied literary studies and urban education at the Union Institute and University in Ohio.
