PCC-Sylvania hosts night for students with disabilities

SYLVANIA CAMPUS – Portland Community College’s Office for Students with Disabilities and the PAVTEC Education Consortium are hosting a Transition Information Night for students with disabilities and their parents as well as instructors and counselors who work with disabled students. The Transition Information Night will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19 in the Little Theater of the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Seating is limited so reservations are encouraged by calling 503-614-7738. Parents, students and school staff will learn about the differences between high school and college services and how to access the right services. Speakers from the Office for Students with Disabilities will share important information on the college, the Culinary Assistant program, and what students need to know to start college.
