Governor hosts 'town hall' on school plan

PORTLAND, Ore. – Gov. Ted Kulongoski will take his education tour to Portland Community College to discuss his proposal for a better, more stable way to pay for education pre-kindergarten through graduate school. The meeting, in which the public is invited, is set for Wednesday, July 20, 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the College Center Building, Fir Room (adjacent to the cafeteria), on PCC’s Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. The governor will describe his proposal and then solicit feedback from the community.
