Decorate clothes with PCC Inkjet Fabric Printing class

Photos and story by

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Have you ever wondered how designers achieve such colorful designs on fabrics? Many of the most popular designs come from the technology of inkjet printing. Now you can recreate this art form in a new non-credit class from Portland Community College. Join instructor Linda Griepentrog for Inkjet Fabric Printing to explore fabric printing with an inkjet printer, or an all-in-one machine, used in tandem with a computer. Create your own images or use ready-to-print imagery. Need something bigger than traditional paper size? The class will discuss large banner and poster printing as well. The one-day class will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, in Room 1509 at the PCC Washington County Workforce Training Center, 18624 N.W. Walker Road. Cost is $19 plus a $20 materials fee payable at class. For more information contact PCC Community Education at 503-533-2921.
