PORTLAND, Ore. – Creaky floors, cold spots and eerie noises. Are they from an old building settling, or an encounter from the great beyond? This fall, spend some time with a professional "ghost buster" and decide for yourself. Instructor Martina Baker will offer insight into theories of the paranormal, the basics of its research and the equipment and protocol used in investigations. Explore apparitions, poltergeists and the many forms that ghostly phenomena can take. The one-day class will meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in Room 106 of Building 7 at the PCC Rock Creek Campus, 17705 N.W.
