Become master of 'wine snobbery' with PCC class

PORTLAND, Ore. – Do you know what wine to order with your dinner? Portland Community College is offering couples a chance to learn together about wine in a non-credit class. Taste different varieties and receive advice from a wine expert that will have you picking out wine confidently whether in a restaurant or at home.Experience wine with your partner with the class Be a couple of Wine Snobs in Under 3 Hours. Students will get a chance to sample different types of wine, lightest to darkest, driest to sweetest. Instructor Erin Ranson will help you find out what you do or don’t like about wine, and you will have a date night too! Registration and $20 fee payable at class. The one-night class will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the Wine Cellar, 13486-A N.W. Cornell. Cost is $19 per person.
