College starts discussions about possible future bond measure, seeks staff input

EAC, Cabinet and Planning Council members will meet Friday, Jan. 20 at the Rock Creek Campus to begin discussions about a potential future PCC bond program for PCC. This is an opportunity for staff and faculty to share their thoughts and ideas as preliminary planning for a future bond initiative is considered by the PCC Board of Directors. The Board will have a work session dedicated on a future bond program next Thursday, Jan. 26.The planning must start now for a possible 2008 bond measure in order to adequately plan and promote the initiative to the public. The primary focus of the preliminary planning for a possible 2008 bond is to move further toward a comprehensive campus at Southeast Center and to bolster infrastructure at the other campuses and centers.Staff with questions, ideas or feedback should contact Karen Jolly, Chair of the EAC, at 503-977-4079, or kjolly@pcc.edu.
