PORTLAND, Ore. – Mid-life career changes bring special challenges to women such as: how do you switch gears to a new interest? What about balancing family and work at this stage? Will you have to start at the beginning? This spring a Portland Community College non-credit class will offer strategies to help women make successful life transitions and take the next step in their careers.

Career Transitions for Women 35+ helps women clarify their interests, values, skills and passions. Focus on self-development, goals, manifesting your intentions, overcoming obstacles and taking action. Instructor Susan Harrington is a certified career and life coach. The class will meet from 7 to 8:50 p.m. Mondays, April 3 through May 22, at the PCC Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Cost is $82.
