Learn how to care for your pet with PCC Class

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Ready to add a pet to your household? And, are you anxious about the ramifications of training and caring for it? Portland Community College offers the perfect solution for pets and owners alike in an upcoming non-credit pet care class.

Instructor and veterinarian Mark Neilsen will cover basic pet care from adoption to the golden years in Pet Care: What Everyone Should Know. Class also explores puppy and kitten health maintenance care at home, emergency recognition, aging pets, and more.

The class will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, April 4 through May 9, at Beaverton High School, 13000 S.W. 2nd St. Cost is $35.
