Lose five pounds in PCC non-credit fitness class

PORTLAND, OR. – If this is the year that you are going to get serious about your fitness routine, then this beginning, non-credit class through Portland Community College is just the thing to get you started. Start with a five pound weight-loss goal and put your fitness plan in motion.

Five Pound Fitness Quest: for Beginners builds an indoor fitness program that includes weights, running, cross-training and “fad-free” nutrition. Instructor Gina Shilhanek teaches students how to create a healthful model for weight loss and positive long-term change.

The class will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, April 12 through May 31, in the Weight Room at Riverdale High School, 9727 S.W. Terwilliger Blvd. Cost is $66.
