BEAVERTON, Ore. – Who is teaching your teen to manage money? Do your kids have the skills they need to start earning, buying and investing the smart way? This spring, Portland Community College will show adults how to successfully teach teens about money in an informative one-night, non-credit workshop.

Teach Your Teen the Real-Life Money Game is designed for adults who wish to teach teens essential money management skills. Instructor Catherine Nicholson will cover credit cards, checking accounts, and basic investing tips.

“One of the greatest gifts you can give your kids is the power to manage money well,” says Nicholson. “It may start with their summer jobs, but the lessons learned in this class will serve kids well into the future.”

The class will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, April 17, at the PCC Washington County Workforce Training Center, 18624 N.W. Walker Road. Cost is $19.
