Digital photographers add pizzazz to digital photos

Photos and story by

PORTLAND, Ore. – If you’d like to experiment with your digital photos, a non-credit online class can offer both convenience and inspiration. Portland Community College’s upcoming class will help you take your digital snapshots and turn them into great photos, using your home computer.

Using hands-on examples, Photoshop CS2 for the Digital Photographer teaches students how to apply the professional tools and techniques that are most helpful to photographers. Instructor Beverly Schulz will guide students with no editing experience to create amazing images.

Held entirely online via the Internet, the six-week class offers the flexibility to open lessons whenever your schedule allows and features discussion boards with the instructor and other students. The class will be offered twice this spring: choose from April 19 through May 26, or May 17 through June 23. Cost is $85. To register, email ddavis@pcc.edu, or visit www.ourcoursescometoyou.com.
