A welding class for beginners

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Community College’s Community Education program is offering a welding class for novices this fall term in Room TE 14 at Hillsboro High School, 3285 SE Rood Bridge Rd.

The non-credit class, Beginning Welding, taught by John Stables, will run Mondays and Wednesdays, from 7 to 9 p.m., Sept. 25 through Nov. 29. This class is for beginning students, who learn arc, oxyacetylene and MIG welding processes, procedures, and practices. Cost is $219.
