Class shows how to live lighter in a sustainable world

PORTLAND, Ore. – In today’s world, being green is all the rage. Now, people can learn how to live green thanks to a non-credit Portland Community College class.

In Living Lighter in a Sustainable World, Craig Briggs will explore the practical, cost benefit solutions to make a home, vehicle or lifestyle green. He’ll show students how to make a prioritized action plan; and cover the science of energy, including chemical pollution, habitat conservation and global warming,

This class will meet from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m., Wednesdays, Oct. 4 through Oct. 25 in the Cedar Room of the Lake Oswego Adult Center, 505 G Avenue. Cost is $49. For more information, call 503-731-6622.
