This PCC course is Windows XP user friendly

PORTLAND, Ore. – One of the most popular computer platforms has now just got easier.

Portland Community College is offering two non-credit classes this fall to help people better understand Windows XP. Instructor Margaret Dunay will lead Windows XP for Seniors: Level I and Windows XP: Level I where she’ll teach students how to navigate and customize their computer by using non-technical language. The class is slated from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesdays, Sept. 27 through Oct. 25 in the Vernonia Community Learning Center, 919 Bridge Street. There will be no class on Oct. 18. Cost is $45.50 for seniors, or $85 for the general public. For more information, call 503-978-5205.
