Native American drumming at Sylvania

Photos and story by

The Sylvania Women’s Resource Center will host a Native American Drumming Circle on Wednesday, November 22 at noon in the CC Building, Upper Mall.

The day before Thanksgiving has been chosen as a way to recognize the need for healing the devastation caused by genocide, environmental devastation, poverty, wars, and racism perpetrated against Native American Indians by white European’s colonization of a people and a nation.

Please join us in this event for drumming, community, awareness and recognition of Native American History surrounding the Thanksgiving Holiday.
