New Learning Communities classes at Sylvania looking for students

Seats are still available in the following Learning Communities courses at the Sylvania campus. These are classes that have been linked with the same students taking both classes. Learning Communities are a great way to learn as they help students stay engaged and motivated while pursuing their college and life goals. Note: Students are required to enroll in both classes.

Scholarship Research and Writing (3 credits)

Prerequisite: Placement in WR 115.

Reading and Writing with a Purpose (6 credits)

Prerequisites: Placement into WR 90 and RD 90.

“Into the Wild: Surviving Your Reading and Writing Adventure” (7 credits)

RD 115, CRN 10715, M/W 11:00-12:20

WR 115, CRN 11391, M/W 1:00-2:20

Prerequisites: Placement in WR 115 and RD 115
