Sylvania Campus hosts Medical Employer showcase

PORTLAND, Ore. – At Portland Community College, more than 20 healthcare employers will be available to discuss career opportunities with job seekers.

PCC Medical/Dental Employer Showcase will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 8 in the Upper Mall of the CC Building at the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Job seekers interested in a medical career can meet employers and college programs to discuss job opportunities within their respective fields. It will also feature employers who need people in non-medical areas such as information technology, office support, accounting and business services. Anyone interested in a career in healthcare is encouraged to attend this event.

Companies in attendance include Legacy Health System, Kaiser Permanente, The Portland Clinic, Willamette Dental Group, Marquis Companies, Gentech Dentist, Dental Medical Staffing Inc., Medical Society Staffing, Gentle Dental, Newberg Care Home, Portland VA Hospital, and the US Army Health Care Team. Representatives from Linfield College, PCC and WSU-Vancouver University will also be present to answer questions on their nursing programs.
