Photos and story by Heidi Edwards
Come participate in an inspiring lunchtime presentation from the American Cancer Society, “Making Strides against Breast Cancer”. Hosted by S.E. Women’s Resource Center at S.E. Center on May 3, 2007 from noon to 2pm. Karla Signs, the American Cancer Society’s Community Relationship Manager, will be on campus to offer an inspiring presentation from noon to 1pm and will answer questions from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Bring your lunch and your curiosity. Learn how knowing more about breast cancer awareness can save your life or the life of someone you love.
Also, join the PCC “Making Strides against Breast Cancer” team. They will participate in a spirited, noncompetitive walk to save lives and provide hope. The race takes place on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13th, starting at 9:30am in the PSU Park Blocks. The route is about 3 miles. Join the PCC team: bring friends and family! Bring Mom! Anyone can join the PCC team! No entry fees. The team is raising funds for: makingstrides.acsevents.org.
