Students need your help getting back to New Orleans

Photos and story by

Students from PCC are looking to return to New Orleans and help rebuild communities still affected by Hurricane Katrina. Almost two years after Hurricane Katrina over 50 percent of New Orleans population still has not come home. The SOS Club is committed to going three times a year: summer break (June), winter break and spring break. The club needs sponsors for airfare. Ideas, suggestions, donations and help would be greatly appreciated. Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to participate in this program. The educational and personal value is unparalleled. For more information, contact ASPCC at 503-977-4361.
