Photos and story by James Hill
If you have noticed that most of your digital photographs are still on your camera or computer waiting to be cropped, now is the perfect opportunity to turn them into works of art. This summer Portland Community College will offer an online Photoshop class designed for beginners. Don’t let your wonderful photographs become a distant memory; sign up today.
The class, Photoshop Elements 5.0 for the Digital Photographer, will bring out the best in your images. Instructor Beverly Shulz will take you from novice to accomplished user in a matter of weeks. Designed for those with no image-editing experience, or for those seeking to upgrade their skills from earlier versions of the program.
The class will be offered twice this summer: choose from July 18 through Aug. 24 or Aug. 15 through Sept. 21. Cost is $85. To register, e-mail ddavis@pcc.edu, or visit www.ourcoursescometoyou.com.
