Photos and story by James Hill
Writer’s block can happen to anyone at any time; even to seasoned veterans. Whether you are in the middle of writing a masterpiece or just want to get started Portland Community College has just what you need. Held entirely online, this summer non-credit class will provide students with the tricks of the trade from a published writer’s toolbox to banish writer’s block for good.
Writeriffic: Creativity Training for Writers will drive out writer’s block with tips from published writer Eva Shaw. Achieve your dream of hearing your writer’s voice and writing what’s in your heart and head by liberating your imaginative and inventive ideas on paper.
The class will be offered two times this summer: choose from July 18 through Aug. 24, or Aug. 15 through Sept. 21. Cost is $85. To register, email ddavis@pcc.edu, or visit www.ourcoursescometoyou.com.
