Workforce Network Job Fair set for Sept. 13

Portland Community College’s Workforce Network will host its Ninth Annual Workforce Network Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Portland Metro Workforce Training Center, 5600 N.E. 42nd Avenue and Killingsworth Street.
The job fair is a premier job-search event that attracts more than 800 job-seekers every year. The event, free and open to the public, showcases the opportunities with dozens of employers. There will be drawings, door prizes and refreshments.
Employers featured include: Banfield Pet Hospital, U.S. Forest Service, Westaff, Portland General Electric, Clackamas County, Metro, AAA Oregon/Idaho, Adams & Gray Homecare/Marquis, Portland Fire & Rescue, Portland Habilitation, First Investors Corp., Portland Police Bureau, Avis Budget Group, and more.
The job fair is made possible by Worksystems Inc., Oregon Employment Department, Housing Authority of Portland, Oregon Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Oregon Department of Human Services, Urban League of Portland, NE Workforce Center, SMS Services and Job Corps.
