Tualatin gets new center for those seeking new careers

PORTLAND, Ore. – A new WorkSource office has opened in Tualatin, to bring services to the unemployed and under-employed in south Washington County.
WorkSource Tualatin – a network of public and private partners including the Oregon Employment Department and Portland Community College – is at 7995A S.W. Mohawk St., Tualatin. A grand opening, complete with tour is set for 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6.
WorkSource Portland Metro Centers offer services for adults and dislocated workers designed to minimize the impact of job loss and unemployment, and create opportunities to new employment as quickly as possible through services that include free professional job search classes, employer presentations, career centers, career assessment and planning, GED and ESL classes, short-term training, skills upgrading, and career advancement services.
