Class shows how to evaluate retirement savings

Portland Community College is offering this spring term a basic non-credit painting class that will give students experience in many different media.

In the Community Education course, Get Started in Painting, instructor Emerson Chistoff will help students find their painting skill. He will begin with drawing basics, and then learn watercolor, acrylics and mixed media techniques. The price includes all supplies. Student will have the opportunity to try many media.

The class will meet from 6:15 to 8:45 p.m., Thursdays, April 10 through May 29, Art Room, Lake Oswego Adult Community Center, 505 G Ave. Cost is $124. For more information, contact the PCC Community Education office at (503) 731-6642.
