The PCC Foundation has exceeded its fundraising goal for the fiscal year, raising $1,314,118 in contributions. This past year, more than 36 percent of PCC employees donated to the PCC Foundation during the 2008 Superhero Faculty, Staff & Retiree Campaign to support students through scholarships and programs. Together, faculty, staff and retirees contributed $177, 588 – a significant increase from last year.
“Thank you for your support,” said PCC President Preston Pulliams. “As I talk about PCC in our community, reaching this goal is the first step in our three-year capacity building plan to grow the Foundation’s ability to raise additional dollars to meet the needs of our students and provide support to programs.
“On behalf of PCC Foundation staff, PCC administration leadership and our scholarship and program recipients, thanks to each and every one of you for your time, efforts and contributions to help put us over the top,” he added.
