ROOTS welcomes new adviser to its ranks

Sarah Hannon is the new PCC-Sylvania ROOTS advisor! Hannon has been a part-time adviser over the last year in the Counseling/Advising Office at Sylvania. Prior to joining PCC in 2007, she worked in community mental health as a counselor with adults, families and children in east Portland and Gresham, taught college coursework and coordinated the Professional Aviation program at Mt. Hood Community College, and more recently taught and advised students at Central Oregon Community College. In addition to being a native Portlander, she also has lived in Latin America and traveled in Asia and Europe. Hannon replaces Mario Garza, who moved on to work at Woodburn High School.
