Students4Giving needs items for December auction

Photos and story by

From Dec. 1 through Dec. 14, students in the new Students4Giving program will be auctioning a wide variety of fun and unique items to raise money for local charities while learning about philanthropy. The more items they have the more money they can raise for targeted local non-profit.

This is also a great opportunity for business owners to advertise their products and services. Business logos and Web site links will be prominently displayed with all donated auction items. Students4Giving is an academic program that benefits local non-profits while giving students real-life experience by having them guide an actual philanthropic fund. In 2008, students in the program dispersed $10,000 to four community non-profit organizations by Students4Giving.
