Asian Studies lecture explores Sikhism, politics
Photos and story by James Hill
Before you head out on holiday for Thanksgiving, plan to make the third and final installment of the Asian Studies speaker series, to take place next Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
“The Politics and Religious Beliefs of Sikhism” will be led by Heminder Singh and will take place in SY TCB 216 as part of Bryan Hull’s “Indian Literature” (ENG 207) course. As an instructor and member of the campus Asian Studies committee, Bryan organized the fall term speaker series which is open to all PCC faculty, staff and students.
The organizers are encouraging faculty to attend with their classes; if you’d like to bring your students, please contact Bryan Hull in advance at x4836
