Get into the festive mood: PCC holiday parties set

Photos and story by

It’s that time of year again to get in that holiday spirit of giving or simply enjoy time with fellow staff and friends. This year, each campus party will host raffles or canned food drives to benefit local charities. This year’s schedule includes:

Southeast Center – 2 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2, Mt. Tabor Great Hall. This isn’t a party but an Extended Learning Campus Winter Town Hall with refreshments and business updates by Nan Poppe. RSVP by Wednesday, Nov. 26 to Kelli Fritsche (kfritsch@pcc.edu). The center is conducting a food drive or the Oregon Food Bank with barrels set up across the campus. A sock drive for Coffee Creek Correctional Facility is also being conducted.

Rock Creek Campus – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8, Event Center. Cost is $4 per employee and there will be a food drive benefiting the Oregon Food Bank.

Sylvania Campus – 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 10, in the Dining Hall. Proceeds from “Winter Fest” will benefit Neighborhood House. Donations of $1 or more are accepted at the door and there will be a raffle of department-sponsored holiday baskets. For more information, call (503) 977-8233.

Cascade Campus – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 10, Dining Room, Student Center. This "Winter Gathering" will include a feast and much more.

Cascade Kids Presents Party – 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Dec. 13, Dining Room.
