Input on issues affecting male students needed

Photos and story by

We need your help! We are actively recruiting male students at the Sylvania campus to participate in focus groups to be held the week of March 2. Their input will be used to help shape programs and services for men at Sylvania; we want to hear from them what is important, what services are used often, what services aren’t currently offered but would be used if available in the future, etc.

The following is a list of available focus group sessions, with the dates/time/locations highlighted:

Session 1: Monday, March 2 Noon-1:30 p.m. CC Building/Oak Room

Session 2: Tuesday, March 3 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. CC Building/Pine Room

Session 3: Tuesday, March 3 5-6:30 p.m. CC Building/Oak Room

Session 4: Wednesday, March 4 Noon-1:30 p.m. CC Building/Cedar Room

Session 5: Thursday, March 5 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. CC Building/Pine Room

After choosing which session they would like to attend, participants should contact Kat Arno in the Sylvania Dean of Students office at x4529 to make a reservation. Space is limited to the first 15 participants in each session.

And a bonus for attendees – participants will receive free pizza, soda, cookies and the chance to win an iPod Nano! The drawing will be held on Monday, March 9, and winners will be notified via phone or e-mail.
