PCC’s Blaise Barshaw is a runner-up finalist for the film “Bottled Water: Confidential” in National Geographic Channel’s second annual “Preserve Our Planet” College Film and PSA Contest. Barshaw is one of three finalist that are competing for an audience award where viewers at its Web site vote for their favorite film.

This year the contest again received nearly 100 entries, which were narrowed down to the top 20 by the contest committee and then voted on by a select panel of judges including top National Geographic Explorers and representatives from the National Geographic Society, and contest partners ecoAmerica and GreenCareers by MonsterTRAK. The judges selected a winner in each category and three runner-up finalists to compete for the audience award in online voting April 1 to 15, 2009, at www.preserveourplanet.com.
