Former Oregon Secretary of State Bill Bradbury attended PCC’s Portland Metro Workforce Training Center on Friday.
Bradbury, who stepped down as secretary of state at the end of 2008, attended the annual planning session for the employment and training programs offered at Metro. He discussed such topics as higher education, the recession, employment issues and the environment.
Bradbury was appointed secretary of state in 1999 and was elected state-wide in 2000 and 2004. He was forbidden from running again due to term limits.
He formerly served in both the state House of Representatives and the state Senate.
Bradbury has told reporters that he is considering a run for governor in 2010.
