‘Financial literacy’ for students is topic of January workshop

The Associated Students of Portland Community College are scheduling a “financial literacy workshop” for students in January.
The workshop is designed to to provide students with the knowledge to create a lifelong understanding of how to handle financial affairs.
“Nothing is necessary to bring, except themselves,” said Chvonne Wardrop, educational programmer for the ASPCC.
The event is set to run from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in the Cedar Room, College Center, Sylvania Campus.
