Photos and story by

On Friday, March 12, the PCC Rock Creek Choir will perform a mix of multi-cultural, American folk, African-American spiritual, 80’s retro and contemporary songs at their quarterly concert at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 12, at Rock Creek’s The Forum.

The Rock Creek Choir is part of a music program at the campus and has grown during the last two years from eight to 17 students. This has allowed the group to learn new and more complicated material, according to Choir Director and PCC Music Instructor Allison Wils King.

The concert will feature several large and small ensemble pieces as well as solos; it will include music from Black Eyed Peas and Coldplay as well as more traditional pieces.
