For the ninth year in a row, PCC’s Financial Services has been awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Financial Officers Association for the 2009-10 budget.

The award reflects the continuing commitment of the governing body and staff in meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting. To receive the award, budget documents must satisfy  guidelines for effective presentation in 4 areas – a policy document, financial plan, operations guide and communications device.

“Producing this document is truly a team effort from several areas of Financial Services and I would like to extend my appreciation to all staff that participated in the preparation of this document and especially to the Budget Office,” said Preston Pulliams, PCC President. “This is truly an impressive accomplishment.”
