DJC Magazine names Downtown Center No. 1

Photos and story by

PCC’s renovation of the historic Willamette Building in downtown Portland was named the No. 1 project for public buildings by the DJC Magazine. Built in 1882, the structure required a full seismic upgrade and high performance lighting, mechanical and safety systems, too. It’s the college’s first presence downtown since the Stadium Center closed in the early 1980s.
