New lab at Rock Creek eases pressure on programs, upgrades technology
Photos and story by Gina Whitehill-Baziuk
The Building 5 computer lab is now online at the Rock Creek Campus thanks to the PCC Bond Program. During the winter break, PCC’s Technology Solutions Services installed 31 new computers in Room 125 that repurposed the classroom as a computer lab. Take a look at how its making a difference at the Washington County campus.
This general purpose computer lab was already an existing classroom. The Bond program purchased the computers which allowed critical academic programs to access software for their existing classes.
No new construction was needed to change this general purpose classroom into a computer lab, because the infrastructure had already been put into place during the last bond program.
