The Sylvania Campus participated in the annual Newberg Old Fashioned Festival, held in the city’s Memorial Park on July 23-25. College administrators staffed an informational booth for festival-goers and participated in the Saturday morning parade, driving PCC’s Smart Car.

PCC will begin offering both credit and non-credit courses in Newberg this fall in its interim site at the Chehalem Cultural Center. Beginning in October, PCC will begin construction on its permanent Newberg Educational Center, to open in fall 2011. The college will build on 15 acres behind Providence Newberg Medical Center and south of Highway 99W.
