Former Black Panther, historian coming to PCC

David Hilliard, a former Black Panther Party Chief of Staff, is coming to PCC to speak about the racial divisions in America today. A book signing will follow each appearance. It’s free admission, but seating is limited.
Hilliard was involved in every major activity of the best-recognized African American organization of the 1960s and 70s. He is author of the book, “This Side of Glory,” a personal narrative of the Black Panthers. Hilliard is also an authority on the life, legacy, and intellectual history of Black Panther founder and leader Huey P. Newton.
